2020 Rosato -
Start with our 5th vintage Sangiovese-based Rosé. This is a nice crisp wine with balanced acidity on the finish and a wonderful match with any charcuterie or crudité platter, perfectly invigorating the palate.
2016 Susan’s Vineyard Pinot Noir –
After guests arrive and are settled in, mingling and hors d’ouvres served, offer a glass of this 2016 vintage … an essential grown in the Umpqua Valley.
Susan's Vineyard is a high elevation vineyard planted all to Dijon Clones. This wine exhibits the classic Oregon Pinot Noir characters of elegant fruit and forest floor. This vintage was fermented on the stems with the berries intact resulting in a beautiful raspberry framboise character and aging in 25% new French Oak for 12 months, softening the tannins. The complex nose is full of cherry, raspberry, vanilla, baking spice and forest floor.
Your guests will enjoy the silk texture with sweet fruit and structured tannins wrapped in beautiful acidity; the finish layered in red fruit and a hint of crushed rose petal.
2014 La Dame –
This classic red blend combines the depth and opulence of Umpqua Valley Merlot (70%) with the elegance and focus of Rogue Valley Cabernet Franc (20%) and Malbec (10%), resulting in a perfect make-a-statement wine to close the main course with.
2015 Malmsey –
Last but not in the very least, DESSERT … The 2015 Malmsey, our nod to the underrated sweet wines of Madeira.
Complex aromas of lychee, apricot, and cashew brittle complement the silky texture and caramel flavors on the palate. With age, expect more notes of dried fruits and toasted nuts. This dessert wine makes for a delightful pairing with a fruit tart, lemon merengue pie or grandma’s shortbread cookies. Want to skip the sweets?
