2017 Cabernet Sauvignon - Case Special
Cabernet Sauvignon is a noble variety best known as the cornerstone of many great Bordeaux blends, due to its popularity it is now grown worldwide. This Cabernet Sauvignon is from the Umpqua Valley. Fermented in our oak tanks to retain heat during fermentation in the cool days of late October. This wine was aged for 2 years in 35% new French Oak barrels. This is a dense Cabernet Sauvignon with elegant tannins and balanced acidity. A wine that will drink well now and for years to come.
Tastintg notes: Black cherry fruit with hints of blackberry give way to cocoa powder and coffee notes.
Pairing: Rack of lamb or a grilled ribeye steak.
