2012 Pinot Noir
The first release for Paul O'Brien and a delicous one at that. This 2012 Pinot Noir opens with a ton of cherry fruit that integrates with a lovely touch of smokey oak. Soft silky tannins round out a long vibrant finish. Our Pinot Noir is fermented in open top fermenters with hand punchdowns to preserve the silky texture and vibrant fruit. We left 10% of the clusters whole during fermentation which adds a wonderful raspberry framboise note to the wine. This wine was aged in French Oak for 12months before blending and bottling.
